Navarre University will open a branch on Zorrotzaurre
The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, and the Vice Chancellor of theUniversity of Navarre, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, yesterday signed a collaboration agreement whereby the University is to deliver two modules of its Master’s Degree in Architecture in Bilbao and it anticipates gradually extending its academic offeringsto the point of establishing its own branch on Zorrotzaurre.
The University of Navarre will begin its academic activity in the city by firstly delivering two modules of its Master’s Degree in Architecture. It will likewise organise, amongst other events, a season of talks byarchitects of acknowledged renown, an exhibition, a summer school and a workshop.
At a later stage, within three/four years (probably in 2023), it will establish a branch of its own onZorrotzaurre, where other universities have recently landed and projects exist to locate new university training facilities.
The University of Navarre is a private, catholic university belonging to the prelature of the Opus Dei, founded in Pamplona, Navarre (Spain) in 1952 by SaintJosemaríaEscrivá de Balaguer.
